Dhiraj Srivastava

Dhiraj Srivastava is a Rajasthan Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch, presently on deputation to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

Dhiraj has over two decades of administrative experience. He has held important field postings in the border districts of Rajasthan like Sirohi, Jalore and Jodhpur. He has also worked at the Chief Minister’s office as OSD to the CM from 1999–2003.

On deputation from the State Govt to the Prime Minister’s Office, Govt of India, Dhiraj has worked with the prestigious National Advisory Council with contributions in core areas of women and child development, rural development and tribal development. He is also acknowledged with noted contributions in the framing of historic legislations like the Right to Information, the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, and Social Security to Unorganised Sectors, covering denotified, nomadic and particularly vulnerable tribal groups.

Working with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation since February 2014, Dhiraj has spearheaded relief work during the devastating floods in Kashmir in September 2014. He has also been closely involved in the signature schemes of the Foundation—INTERACT and the Rajiv Gandhi Access to Opportunities Programme.

Dhiraj has had an excellent academic record throughout and was a gold medallist from his postgraduation course. Presently, he is pursuing a Ph.D.
