Education

RGF promotes inclusive learning through scholarships, creative learning centres, remedial education and hands-on S&T outreach so children and youth can thrive academically and emotionally through multiple programs. These programs prioritise continuity, psychosocial care, teacher support and practical exposure to science and vocational pathways.

INTERACT (Scholarship Program for Children Affected by Violence)

INTERACT was created to support children who lost one or both parents to violence and were at high risk of dropping out. The programme ensures continuity of education by providing scholarships, emotional support, and regular academic follow-ups. Over the years, INTERACT has helped thousands of children stabilise their education, rebuild confidence, and pursue higher learning with dignity and long-term guidance. In 2024-25, 270 children from 13 states received scholarships for schooling, in Manipur, J&K, and other locations.

Wonderoom Learning Centre

Wonderoom was established as a creative learning space to nurture curiosity, expression, and joyful learning among children. Built on the principles of experiential and child-centric education, it offers activities in reading, arts, theatre, science, and digital literacy. The centre has evolved into a hub for imagination and discovery—benefiting children, educators, and community groups through workshops, camps, and training sessions. Wonderoom extension activities are now in over 30 locations in NCR Delhi and rural Rajasthan, Bihar and Sikkim through the AShA Centres.

AShA (Antyodaya Shiksha Abhiyan) for Supplementary Education

AShA began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a community-based effort to support out-of-school and at-risk children facing severe learning disruptions. It has since grown into a structured remedial and enrolment-support programme offering daily sessions, family follow-ups, and school coordination. AShA helps vulnerable children rebuild foundational skills, return to school, and continue learning confidently.

Rajiv SKILLAB evolved into STEP Program

The Rajiv SKILLAB at Jawahar Bhawan has long focused on strengthening science education and vocational training. During COVID-19, when practical learning for children and youth was disrupted, this vision led to the creation of GeNext Science & Technology and Entrepreneurship (STEP Centres) to sustain scientific curiosity through simple and accessible activities. As conditions improved, STEP evolved into a comprehensive programme offering hands-on experiments, mobile science demonstrations, vocational exposure, and interactive technology sessions. Today, STEP Centres are building scientific temperament and promoting practical, experience-based education.
