Nalin Srivastava is the Director – Programme at the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation
Nalin has two decades of diversified global experience in the Education, Hospitality, and Oil & Gas sectors. With an MBA from Indian School of Business and as an ex-merchant navy Captain, Nalin is passionate about solving complex problems, relentless execution, and running a ‘tight ship.’
In his last assignment, he was Director-Dean’s Office at the Indian School of Business. In his over six years of association with ISB, he spearheaded several departments, including Operations, Projects, and Sustainability, and contributed towards the building and flourishing of a world-class global institution. In his previous avatar, he was the Chief Operations Officer in the Oil and Gas industry, where he directed operations, global logistics, and health safety environment and quality norms, of an Oil Platform at Ivory Coast, West Africa.
Curious by nature, Nalin is a student of Organizational Behaviour and explores the secret sauce of employee engagement and operational excellence. His fledging research has appeared in the Harvard Business Publishing and the Journal of Applied Psychology, a top tier Management Journal.
Nalin is an audiophile, and his interests range from Sufi music to Psychedelic Rock. An avid reader, and a globe-trotter, Nalin believes that it is never too old to learn and there is no such thing as too much travel.
